The Head of Library leads the Brother Liguori Resources Centre team, providing vision and leadership in delivering high-quality, client-focused library, information, literacy, and research services to the College community. Commencing Term 1 2025.

<p>Founded in 1881 by the Marist Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist spirituality and traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment is approximately 1,100 students.</p><p>The Head of Library reports directly to the Director of Teaching and Learning, with oversight from the Deputy Head of College – Learning and Innovation. </p><p>The successful candidate will provide effective leadership to develop a high-performing Resources Centre team, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with the Director of Teaching and Learning, the Heads of Departments, and the Academic Leaders. They will build on and further enhance and develop well established and successful programs. Supporting a large number of boarding and day students, the library is open for extended hours from Monday – Thursday of each Term week.</p><p>Applications are invited from highly experienced and qualified educators from within the teaching profession with demonstrated success with current educational standards and practices.
