We are seeking suitably qualified, highly motivated and dynamic Classroom Teachers to form part of our staff team for 2025. We encourage enthusiastic staff who wish to join our committed and collaborative staff team.</p><p><strong>We are in search of teachers who are committed to:</strong></p><ul><li>Nurturing a faith community within a Catholic context</li><li>The safety, well-being and protection of all children in our care</li><li>Delivering learning that is developmentally appropriate, promotes learning in a contemporary context and differentiates accordingly</li><li>Working collaboratively with staff to build a culture of equity, empowerment and improvement</li><li>Providing structures that engage and empower each student, in order to develop confident, independent and resilient learners</li><li>Developing leadership capabilities and a willingness to contribute to professional learning</li><li>Using purposeful assessment that provides data to drive and plan further teaching</li><li>Developing positive, meaningful and committed relationships with students, staff and the wider school</li><li>Supporting the school community to develop and nurture a culture of welcome and inclusion</li></ul><p>St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School is a child-safe school and is committed to the safety, well-being and protection of all children in our care. </p><p><strong>Key Selection Criteria:</strong></p><p>Please elaborate on your experience and strengths in the following areas:</p><ul><li>have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education</li><li>demonstrate successful approaches to student wellbeing in the classroom and school community</li><li>have knowledge of and be able to demonstrate implementation of the current Child Safety Standards</li><li>demonstrate the development of positive partnerships with parents and the wider community </li><li>create, build and embrace a positive collaborative, team-based approach to teaching and learning and ability to deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities, using evidence-based strategies, including the use of data and feedback to enable and enhance student learning</li></ul><p><strong>Evidence of this needs to be provided in the application:</strong></p><ul><li>have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a commitment to obtain accreditation (advantageous) <br /> </li><li>be appropriately qualified and hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration</li></ul>
