Cranbrook School is seeking outstanding teachers to join our dynamic Senior School teaching team. Commencing Term 1, 2025, these positions will be based at our Senior School campus in Bellevue Hill. Teachers of all subjects are invited to apply but we are particularly seeking teachers of Mathematics, Chinese/Japanese and Chemistry and/or Physics.

You are committed to continual professional development and reflection, and have a genuine interest in the growth of young people.</p><p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p><ul><li>NESA accreditation to teach in New South Wales (required)</li><li>A Master’s Degree in Teaching will be highly regarded.</li><li>Sound knowledge and understanding of the NSW Curriculum and current teaching and learning theory and practice</li><li>Experience teaching the IB MYP and DP, and in effective integration of ICT to deliver meaningful pedagogy, are highly desirable</li><li>Capacity to create a motivating and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all learners through varied teaching strategies and pedagogical practices to maximise learning</li><li>Experience with a range of online platforms, including Learning Management Systems, to support learning and provide feedback</li><li>Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction and cater to diverse learning needs</li><li>Creative mindset and ability to design interactive and dynamic lessons</li><li>Organisational skills to manage schedules, events and student records</li><li>A level of mobility that supports the ability to respond to a first aid / behavioural incident</li><li>Current First Aid and CPR qualifications </li><li>A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children </li><li>A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children. </li></ul><p><strong>CLOSING DATE: Friday 1 November 2025</strong></p><p><strong>HOW TO APPLY</strong></p><p>Applications should include a resume and a cover letter addressing the selection criteria and reasons for your interest in the position.
