<p>We are seeking a robust and highly motivated ICT Systems Analyst to join our ICT Team in a newly created role. Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, support, maintenance and optimisation of our organisation&#39;s databases to ensure their reliability, security and high performance. The ideal candidate should possess good technical expertise in database management, with a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other stakeholders in the school. Key to this role will be your ability to review data and manage its currency while leading data analytics with the production of relevant reports.</p><p><strong>Permanent full-time position - Immediate Start (</strong><i><strong>Commence 14 October 2024 or by negotiation)</strong></i></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Manage, maintain, and develop the TASS School Management System, providing solutions and enhancements as required. </li><li>Lead as the Project Manager for the implementation of learning analytics program, TrackOne.</li><li>Support the Enrolment Officer by ensuring the API that manages the Enrolment software is working correctly.</li><li>Act as User Support for all TASS queries.</li><li>Manage the extraction, transfer and currency of data between various programs such as TASS, Edval, Accelerus, SPC website, Canvas and SPC App (Digistorm) and other third-party programs. </li><li>Produce regular reports on an ‘as needs’ basis in the TASS environment and produce reports for census information.</li><li>Oversee the API that syncs TASS data with Sage ESS and Sage People.</li><li>This role would be required to perform UAT (User acceptance testing) on new / improvements of software.</li><li>Manage the setup of all new staff users within the school management system.</li><li>Perform end of year and end of term rollover within the school management system</li><li>Develop and manage student academic reports (Accelerus), ensuring that student reports are completed and issued in line with the reporting calendar.</li><li>Work with all staff to ensure integrity and accuracy of data.</li><li>Advise on emerging technologies and products that the College should consider.</li><li>Review documentation for new database releases and test functionality and import prior to implementation.</li><li>Provide support for changes to programs.</li><li>Organise and/or deliver training in TASS and the documentation of processes, policies and procedures relating to TASS.</li><li>Maintain required levels of knowledge and documentation relating to various school management systems including TASS.</li><li>Manage the database requirements for Edval, Leadership Team, Finance Department, and all other staff.</li><li>Assist in the management, maintenance, and development of Microsoft Identity Management (IDM) and TASS synchronisation policies and processes.</li><li>Liaise with and support the IT Manager in the network administration of live and test database servers.</li><li>Act as the interface and filter between TASS representatives and staff.</li></ul><p>To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate you satisfy the following selection criteria:</p><p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours and professional boundaries that reflect child safeguarding values in practice.</li><li>Proven work experience as a Database Administrator </li><li>Practical system development and documentation experience</li><li>Experience using TASS and Canvas is desirable</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel</li><li>Understanding of Azure Admin Console and Active Directory</li><li>Solid understanding of different data types, data analytics and data modelling</li><li>Understanding and knowledge of relational databases, SQL is an advantage</li><li>Solid knowledge of business information systems and applications</li><li>Analytical acumen and the skill to communicate technical data in a clear, non-technical manner</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>High level of organizational and administrative skills</li><li>Demonstrate initiative and the capacity to work independently and meet deadlines</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. </li><li>Familiarity with .NET Framework (MVC), T-SQL, C#, and Python. </li><li>Knowledge of O365 and Azure Administration </li><li>Professional certifications in database administration, such as Oracle Certified Professional or Microsoft
