The ideal candidate will design and implement a music curriculum aligned with the Kodály method and First Steps in Music, emphasising sequential and child-centered learning appropriate for primary-level students.</p><p>The position is part time (0.6) fixed term for the 2025 academic school year, commencing 28 January 2025 </p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><strong>Design and implement</strong> an engaging music curriculum aligned with best practices in Kodály and First Steps methodologies.</li><li><strong>Foster positive relationships</strong> with students, staff, and parents, contributing to a collaborative learning environment.</li><li><strong>Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons</strong> that promote creativity, curiosity, and engagement through musical experiences.</li><li><strong>Provide opportunities</strong> for students to observe, question, and explore music in an inclusive and supportive setting.</li><li><strong>Establish clear learning objectives</strong> for each lesson and communicate them effectively to students.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>You have a passion for music education and a strong understanding of Kodály and First Steps methodologies.
