<p>St George Preca School is seeking a 1.0 FTE Physical Education Teacher. This is an ongoing contract for suitably experienced teachers. Graduate teachers are welcome to apply, with a probationary period being in place before an ongoing contract is achieved.</p><p>St George Preca Parish Primary School in the Parish of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs. The 2025 enrolment is approx. 726 students from Prep to Grade 6.</p><p>We are seeking a teacher committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of the students in their care.</p><p>Applicants must be able to:</p><ul><li>demonstrate a strong commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>contribute as a member of a Professional Learning Team, planning and teaching in a collaborative environment focused on continual improvement</li><li>teach effectively to the diverse range of learning needs enriching the learning for all students</li><li>use data to inform teaching</li><li>have the ability to inspire and encourage students with a love of learning</li><li>demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning and teaching</li><li>plan, teach, assess, and report to class teachers on the Physical Education and Sports program for 19 classes using the Victorian Curriculum as the main reference</li><li>Set a budget, monitor and purchase Physical Education equipment/resources</li><li>Coordinate and oversee the School Athletics &amp; Swimming Carnivals</li><li>Assist senior school class teachers with inter-school organisation – Summer and Winter seasons</li><li>Coordinate school representatives for zone and regional swimming; cross-country; athletics</li><li>Coordinate whole school events eg.
