<li>remuneration package valued at up to $136,142. Base salary ranges from $85,000 to $122,100. Salary calculated on averaged conditions. Work during school-term only. Not required to work in school holidays</li>

<p dir="ltr"><br /><strong>About You</strong><br /> <br />As a <strong>Diverse Learning Teacher </strong>Diverse Learning Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br /> <br />Selection Criteria:</p>
<ul>
<li>ability to work across the Years (7-12) to devise appropriate support programs for individual students</li>
<li>create and maintain an effective partnership with families and carers to support and improve students' achievement and personal development</li>
<li>mentor and coach teachers to make appropriate adjustments or interventions for students at the point of need</li>
<li>coordinate the personalised planning process and collaborate with teachers and stakeholders on developing personalised plans for students</li>
<li>demonstrate knowledge of the administrative requirements pertaining to National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and NESA Disability Provisions</li>
<li>identifiy and coordinate internal and external stakeholders, support services and agencies to respond to the needs of students including providers for diagnostic testing and assessment</li>
<li>display a thorough understanding of and collect relevant data to include in Personalised Learning Plans for NCCD requirements</li>
<li>collaborate with teachers and Learning Support Officers to provide educational support for identified students</li>
<li>support teachers in the creation and implementation of engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li>
<li>commit to Catholic Education and a clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic Schools.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="ltr">To excel in the role you will posses:</p>
<ul>
<li>relevant Learning Support /Special Needs qualification or recent work experience (would be beneficial but not essential)</li>
<li>a sound understanding of the Disability Discrimination Act and the Disability Standards for Education</li>
<li>working knowledge of the NCCD Framework and Personalised Learning Plan process</li>
<li>relevant knowledge and experience in educational testing and demonstrated experience in designing evidence-based pedagogical and resource adjustments</li>
<li>demonstrated ability to implement an effective and efficient Learning Support system including preparation of documentation for both school community and external agencies</li>
<li>demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with families, students and colleagues including the use of appropriate interpersonal skills</li>
<li>demonstrated organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail</li>
<li>supportive of College aims, initiatives, policies and practices</li>
<li>excellent administration, organisation and interpersonal skills.</li>
</ul>
<p dir="ltr">You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li>
</ul>
