<p>St. Hurmizd Assyrian Primary School, a dynamic K-6 institution, is dedicated to delivering high-quality education. We prioritise creativity, collaboration, and academic excellence.</p><p>We are currently inviting applications for qualified Learning Support/Teacher&#39;s Aides to support students with diverse needs. The Learning Support/Teacher&#39;s Aide will work under the guidance of the class teacher, assisting with student supervision and various other activities.</p><p>For 2025, we have <strong>two</strong> part-time positions available, these are temporary roles that commence Term 1, 2025 until the end of Term 4, 2025.</p><p><strong>What you will need to succeed (Essential Criteria)</strong></p><ul><li>Certificate III/IV in Education Support</li><li>The successful applicant will need to support the Christian values of the school and be a role model for the students.</li><li>Assist teachers and students both inside and outside Learning Spaces.</li><li>Assist with the supervision of small groups and/or individual students on activities, as directed by the teacher.</li><li>Undertake specific tasks with individuals or small groups of students under the guidance of the teacher</li><li>Current Working with Children Check</li></ul><p>Applications close: Friday 1 November 2024 (interviews may commence prior)</p><p>Salaries are based on the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 (and paid above the Agreed rate).</p><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><p>Applications should be made in writing and forwarded to Janet Jammo, Human Resources via email at hr&#64;acs.nsw.edu.au by the closing date.</p><p>1) A cover letter addressing the Essential Criteria and suitability to the position (no more than 2 pages)</p><p>2) CV, including two referees (Referees will be contracted only after prior consultation with the candidate)</p><p> </p>
