We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Business Manager to join the St Clare's College team and support the future focused learning vision of the College. The position will commence ASAP. This is a full-time, permanent position with 4 weeks annual leave.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Principal, the Business Manager supports the delivery of quality learning and teaching within a Catholic school context through effective financial and business management. The Business Manager's main role is supporting the Principal in managing all areas of business administration, property and facility management and development, finance and risk management. The role also shares responsibility for leadership of the school's vision, mission and strategic priorities and contributes to the life and management of the school. A base salary of $133,936 plus superannuation. Salary calculated on unaveraged conditions. Salary is based on the SCS Salary rates and is non-negotiable. Required to work in school holidays</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>The successful applicant will perform tasks that include, but are not limited to:</strong><br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li><strong>Facilities</strong>: coordinating maintenance and repairs, efficiently managing budgeted building and refurbishment projects over two sites to ensure high-quality outcomes and necessary risk mitigation, management of school cleaning and security</li><li><strong>WHS</strong>: overseeing Work Health &amp; Safety (WHS) management and compliance</li><li><strong>Procurement</strong>: management of all school contracts and end-to-end management of agreements as required, including tender preparation, analysis and briefing papers</li><li><strong>Financial</strong>: oversee day-to-day accounting procedures, financial management and strategic development in an educational setting, which include preparation and presentation of monthly reports, asset management, project accounting and budgeting, risk management, budget preparation and management and preparation of financial statements</li><li><strong>Debt</strong>: debt management and debt recovery strategies in line with SCS' policies, procedures and values</li><li><strong>Other duties</strong>: as directed by the Principal.</li></ul><p><strong>Candidates are also required to demonstrate:</strong><br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>highly developed communication and interpersonal skills leadership skills, with the ability to build an effective team to achieve the organisation's goals</li><li>organisational, planning and coordination skills and ability to develop and maintain relationships with staff, families, key suppliers and contractors and ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of an executive team and to manage cohesive support team</li><li>a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence</li><li>a commitment to Catholic Education, a clear understanding of the vision and mission of Catholic Schools and a willingness to support the faith formation of students.</li></ul><p><strong>Your qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>qualifications in Business, Finance, Project Management or Facilities Management are highly desired</li><li>experience in Business, Finance, Project Management or Facilities Management are essential.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong></p><p>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
