Commencing in January 2025, St Peters Lutheran College is seeking to appoint multiple energetic, self-driven and passionate coaches, in a casual capacity, who will help us to further develop & enhance the programs we offer to our students.

<p>St Peters is a Co-Educational Day and Boarding School of the Lutheran Church located on 50 acres just 7 kilometres from Brisbane CBD. Established in 1945 St Peters has developed an enviable reputation in academic scholarship, pastoral care and breadth of co-curricular programs, through which it seeks to provide an exceptional student experience. Together academic staff and corporate staff provide an outstanding educational environment for students to grow and flourish. </p><p>The Coach will be responsible for coaching an assigned team/s across training sessions and competition days. We are seeking coaches for the Semester 1 2025 seasons that include the following sports:</p><p><strong>Boys Sports:</strong></p><ul><li>Australian Rules Football</li><li>Basketball</li><li>Cricket </li><li>Football</li><li>Rugby Union</li><li>Volleyball</li><li>Rowing</li></ul><p><strong>Girls Sports: </strong></p><ul><li>Basketball</li><li>Football</li><li>Touch Football</li><li>Rowing</li></ul><p><strong>Strength and Conditioning:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor/Level 1 ASCA &#43; 2-year experience</p><p> </p></li></ul><p><strong>About you</strong></p><p>To enable us to continually provide our students with quality sport programs, we do require our coaches to have the following tools: </p><ul><li>An ability to plan and deliver two training sessions per week</li><li>Availability to attend Friday or Saturday (sport dependent) fixtures</li><li>A current First Aid Certificate</li><li>A current Blue Card* (Paid)</li><li>Accreditation at the minimum level for your respective sport <br /><i>Support to obtain further qualifications can be provided</i></li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>To Apply </strong></p><ul><li>Please refer to the <strong>Position Description</strong> for further information about the role (linked).</li><li>Applicants are expected to support the Christian Ethos of the College</li><li>To apply, please submit your cover letter and curriculum vitae, demonstrating how you meet the requirements of the Position Description by clicking on the Apply button provided.</li><li>Applications Close – 10AM Thursday 7 November 2024 </li><li>If you have any questions, please contact the Sport Department on (07) 3377 6143. </li></ul>
