Endeavour College is seeking to appoint a permanent part-time (0.58 FTE) Teacher Librarian ideally to start during Term 4, 2024. Initially working on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, they will be a qualified teacher working in a jobshare situation. Responsible for the management & oversight of the Discovery Centre in alignment with the core values of The Endeavour Way and the Vision for Learners.

<p>The position has responsibility for three aspects: the physical and virtual library space, the XR immersion space, and oversight of the Research Project faculty.</p><p>The Teacher Librarian ensures the development of information literacy, literacy and literature promotion, promotion and administration of the Discovery Centre and its resources, and planning and implementation of key goals in line with the College’s strategic direction. <br /><br />As a Teacher, the Teacher Librarian ensures compliance with SACE requirements for Research Project and will implement the new Activating Identities and Futures (AIF) subject. They will also be assigned relief lessons, yard duties, a Village Care Group and other curricular and co-curricular responsibilities. </p><p>We envision an experienced teacher with library management qualifications, skills and experience with a proven record in education to join our team.
