Within the local school context this leadership role operationalises the Towards 2025 goals to ensure the Mater Maria Catholic College, Warriewood school community enjoy the successes of localised school improvement having alignment to systemic achievement. </p><p>The Towards 2025 objectives come to life at Mater Maria Catholic College, Warriewood under the leadership of the Assistant Principal - Student Achievement in driving high quality teaching and learning initiatives, recognising and responding to learner diversity and supporting staff in their work to manage and enhance student wellbeing.</p><p>This role works in collaboration with the Assistant Principal: Evangelisation and Catechesis in leading and supporting the work of the Director of Wellbeing for Learning.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We invite applications from practising Catholics who actively contribute to the life and community of a Parish.</p><p>You have: </p><ul><li>Senior leadership experience demonstrated by Lead Teacher practice or equivalence as described in the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers</li><li>Effective leadership, development, implementation and/or evaluative experience of curriculum, assessment and reporting </li><li>Successfully led an effective whole-school improvement initiative that improved the learning experience and outcomes for all students  </li><li>Effectively make use of data and evidence to inform and drive improvement </li><li>Demonstrated experience leading and/or responding to transformation and change  </li><li>Demonstrated experience in order to create a cohesive team environment</li><li>Demonstrated ability to engage and influence people to positively contribute to achieving outcomes</li><li>The ability to create an environment for people to work productively and purposefully </li><li>A track record of managing self to meet deadlines, deliver high quality work with emotional self-awareness and awareness of others</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>The ability to engage with and evaluate relevant research, best practices and data to inform future practices</li><li>A keen eye for detail to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications suitable for the receiving audience</li><li>NESA approved undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in Teaching or Education </li><li>Post-graduate qualifications (or working towards) in a related subject area (e.g. Leadership, Theology/RE, Educational Leadership) from an approved tertiary institution</li><li>Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in a CSBB school (i.e. Level E)</li><li>Accreditation at (or working towards) Lead Teacher (desirable though not essential)</li><li>Valid Working With Children Check </li></ul><p>The role is a full-time, permanent role.
