An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified High School Math/Science Teacher to join the permanent staff at Willunga Waldorf School in late January 2025.

You have a generally positive attitude and outlook and can set boundaries with empathy and respect for students, colleagues, and the parent community.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>The primary focus of this role will be on teaching math, physics and ICT in the lower High School years (classes 8-10).</p><p><strong>Key Selection Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Suitable qualifications in teaching math and science at a secondary level</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of human development, particularly in the adolescent years</li><li>Commitment to work with the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework</li><li>Demonstrated ability to confidently manage and cater for different learning needs</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop, document and differentiate curriculum</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues, and the wider community</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to the pursuit of excellence in teaching young people</li><li>Ability to work collegially and professionally with strong teamwork skills</li><li>Commitment to the principle of ongoing teacher development (professionally and personally)</li><li>An understanding of anthroposophy and Steiner Education is desired </li><li>Must have full working rights in Australia</li></ul><p><i>For a full position description, please visit our website: </i><a href="https://wws.sa.edu.au/our-school/employment-opportunities/" rel="nofollow">https://wws.sa.edu.au/our-school/employment-opportunities/</a></p><p>Applicants must have suitable qualifications in math and science teaching at secondary level, be eligible for registration with the Teachers Registration Board of SA, and be willing to obtain a SA Working with Children Check, RRHAN-EC and Provide First Aid training certificates.</p><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><p>Willunga Waldorf School offers an exciting, supportive and rewarding environment to work.
