St Michael's is seeking a suitably qualified applicant with a proven record of leadership. The position will initially be offered on a fixed-term basis for three years, with the opportunity for renewal. The successful applicant will be offered ongoing employment at the school from Term 1, 2025

<p>St Michael’s Primary School is a Catholic primary school located in Berwick with a current enrolment of 445 students. Established in 1962 under the guidance of the Presentation Sisters, the school caters for children within St Michael’s Parish and serves families who wish their children to be educated in an environment where the Catholic faith and values are lived and experienced within an educational setting. </p><p>St Michael’s is an authentically Catholic learning community that provides the very best opportunities for its young people. The School, one of three primary schools in the St Michael’s Parish, boasts vibrant, modern classrooms that are well-appointed and resourced.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Classification:</strong> Position of Leadership Level 3 </li><li><strong>Tenure: </strong>3 years, with a possible second period of appointment</li><li><strong>Start Date:</strong> 28 January 2025</li></ul><p>St Michael’s Primary School, Berwick is seeking a faith-filled, inspirational and dynamic Religious Education Leader to work in partnership with our staff, students, parents and parish community. </p><p>The role of the Religious Education Leader is to support the Principal and leadership team in managing the planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement of the education of all students at St Michael’s Primary School. </p><p>It will involve working closely with the Principal and the strategic deployment of resources, which reflect the following key priorities:</p><ul><li>Enlivening faith education and Catholic identity</li><li>Improved learning outcomes for all students</li><li>Strengthening and development of expert teacher practice, leadership formation and capacity building</li><li>Ongoing commitment to effective and supportive governance.</li></ul><p><br />We are seeking a suitably qualified applicant with a proven record of leadership.The position will initially be offered on a fixed-term basis for three years, with the opportunity for renewal.
