<p>Living Faith Lutheran Primary School is seeking to employ an Art and Design Teacher in a permanent, full-time capacity commencing 1 January 2025. </p><p>Art and Design, in this context, encompasses science, design and technology and visual arts. The role was established in 2021 and the School now boasts a well-developed and flourishing Prep to Year 6 Art and Design program. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue to develop the role within his/her strengths, under the umbrella of the school’s vision for contemporary education and pedagogy. </p><p>The successful candidate will serve in a team-oriented, Christian workplace where collaboration is a cultural feature. In partnership with the Performing Arts Teacher the successful candidate will drive the Arts program of the school. While not essential, applications with makerspace and STEAM experience and/or technical visual arts skills will be highly regarded. A passion and aptitude for collaboration, resourcefulness and contemporary teaching methods will also be viewed particularly favourably by the recruitment team. </p><p>A position statement, selection criteria, required application content and other details are available in the attached information package.
