<p><strong>Teacher ~ Engagement & Inclusion Leader</strong><br /><strong>Commencing Term 1, 2025</strong></p><p><i><strong>Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and suitable candidates may be considered before the closing date.</strong></i></p><p>St. Macartan's Primary School is seeking applications from passionate, suitably qualified, and team-oriented Teachers for the role of Engagement & Inclusion Leader. This is a full-time, ongoing teacher position with a leadership role, (please refer to the attached role description). The ideal candidate will bring a strategic focus on enhancing student engagement and fostering an inclusive learning environment.</p><p>As a key member of our leadership team, you will work closely with staff to ensure that every student is supported to reach their full potential, particularly those with diverse learning needs. You will lead initiatives that promote engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion while upholding the values of Catholic education.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Working collaboratively with leaders in particular the Deputy Principal (Wellbeing & Learning Diversity), to support engagement and learning needs of students</li><li>Lead and coordinate programs that promote student engagement, inclusion, and wellbeing.</li><li>Develop and implement strategies to support a diverse range of learning abilities, ensuring differentiated and inclusive teaching practices.</li><li>Foster a positive school culture where students feel valued, safe, and encouraged to achieve.</li><li>Collaborate with staff and leadership to analyse data and apply research to enhance student learning outcomes.</li><li>Act as a key point of contact for families and external agencies, ensuring strong community relationships that support the school’s vision of inclusivity.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Selection Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build positive relationships across the school community.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives focused on student engagement and inclusion.</li><li>Strong commitment to Catholic education and the values it promotes.</li><li>Proven experience in effectively catering to diverse student learning needs through differentiation and personalised learning approaches.</li><li>A deep understanding of how data, research, and feedback can drive improvement in student outcomes.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p><ul><li>A Child Safety Code of Conduct is attached and must be adhered to.</li><li>Role Description is attached</li></ul><p><strong>Application Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Cover letter</li><li>Curriculum Vitae (CV)</li><li>St. Macartan's Application for Employment form</li><li>Contact details for two professional referees (mobile phone numbers preferred).
