<p><strong>Location:</strong> Within schools, CBD and WFH<br /><strong>Commencement Date:</strong> Immediate start or by negotiation<br /><strong>Closing Date:</strong> Thursday, 17 October 2024<br /><strong>Capacity:</strong> Full-time, temporary (up to 3 years)<br /><strong>No. of positions:</strong> 6<br /> <br /><br /><strong>About the Role</strong><br /> <br />The Amadeus Network Lead provides leadership and direction to instrumental tutors within their nominated Networks and provides direct support to schools, working closely with school leadership teams to manage the delivery of the Amadeus Music Education Program. <br /> <br />These newly created positions will focus on ensuring delivery of exemplary music programming, instruction and providing opportunities for student progression and performance. <br /> <br />Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:</p>
<ul>
<li>working with Principals and school staff to manage the Amadeus Music Education Program, adapting and adjusting program relevance to local context and addressing any identified issues and concerns to ensure the ongoing success of the program</li>
<li>leading a network of instrumental tutors guiding best practice teaching, program and asset management, timetabling and staffing management</li>
<li>collaborating on the design and execution of strategies to enhance the performance of the Amadeus music program across a network</li>
<li>assessing feedback from stakeholders and analysing evaluation data to drive continuous improvement</li>
<li>managing the professional performance of instrumental tutors across assigned networks including, providing coaching and guidance to support professional growth and development and addressing and resolving performance concerns with tutors</li>
<li>collaborating with other Network Leads, Amadeus Asset Management Lead and music experts to stay abreast of research and identify best practice teaching improvement</li>
<li>undertaking network workforce planning, including recruitment, development and retention of staff</li>
<li>leading the induction process for new tutors and ensuring their understanding of their role and expectations of the program</li>
<li>supporting network best practice asset management including preventative maintenance schedules, asset repair and inventory management requirements</li>
<li>ensuring tutor accountability for teaching and learning through the use of Google Workspace to oversee lesson registration and reporting</li>
<li>being available outside regular work hours to attend and manage performances and events</li>
<li>any other duties as directed from time to time.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About You</strong><br /> <br />To be successful in this position, you must possess:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in music or music education</li>
<li>experience as an instrumental tutor, classroom teacher, CAPA coordinator or equivalent</li>
<li>experience in managing large-scale ensemble music programs including management of tutoring staff, timetabling and programming sequences of learning activities</li>
<li>the ability to inspire young people to foster their passion in music and motivate all students of differing levels of ability and interest</li>
<li>demonstrated experience in people leadership to achieve desired outcomes</li>
<li>experience in staging performance events</li>
<li>the ability to engage tutors in professional dialogue and develop their professional practice</li>
<li>strong organisational and time-management skills</li>
<li>a current driver's licence and access to a car.</li>
</ul>
<p>Desirable</p>
<ul>
<li>experienced musician, ensemble conductor and/or tutor</li>
<li>proficiency with, or an ability to learn, Compass (Learning Management System) and Oliver library management system</li>
<li>knowledge of Catholic Systemic Schools/Systems</li>
<li>is a practising Catholic with demonstrated evidence of ongoing commitment to the teachings of the Catholic Church and engagement in the life of a Catholic faith community, such as a parish or an established community within the Catholic Church, as an expression of their relationship with Jesus Christ.</li>
