<p><strong>About You</strong><br /> <br />The <strong>Executive Assistant Principal</strong> is a key senior leader at the College, supporting the Principal in providing expert guidance for the College's teaching, learning strategies, and operations. As an executive leader on the College leadership team, this role includes oversight and accountability for a team of assistant principals working across the College.<br /> <br />The role collaborates with the Pastor, Principal and other Catholic lay leaders to advance the Church's mission of evangelisation and catechesis within the College. It also upholds the SCS values of empathy, excellence, truth, curiosity and collaboration, fostering a vibrant Catholic College community. Additionally, this position plays a pivotal role in creating an environment where staff can develop and apply exemplary pedagogical practices to enhance student learning outcomes.<br /> <br />To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate impact in:</p>
<ul>
<li>creating working conditions and continuously shaping a College culture that is characterised by high performance, continuous improvement, data-informed decision making and a commitment to best practice</li>
<li>collaborating with the leadership team to design, implement and evaluate the College's strategic and annual planning objectives, with particular focus on teaching and learning</li>
<li>analysing school and network data to gain insights to inform College improvement targets and initiatives</li>
<li>working cooperatively with the Principal, Parish Priest and parish teams to identify, develop, and lead opportunities to connect the school and parish in the evangelising mission of the Church</li>
<li>keeping abreast of contemporary educational practices in local, state, national and international settings to inform learning and development opportunities for staff</li>
<li>managing the Annual Professional Learning Plan for College staff to ensure professional growth and development opportunities are accessible and transferable to proficiency and capability in practice</li>
<li>managing complex and significant pastoral care or discipline matters as delegated by the Principal and with the Assistant Principals/other leaders</li>
<li>leading and/or contributing to recruitment and selection processes for all role levels at the College</li>
<li>implementing and evaluating performance development goal setting practices in the College</li>
<li>supporting the Principal to develop and implement the College's social, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing framework</li>
<li>promoting and implementing SCS mission and vision To know and love Christ through learning and Thriving Catholic communities through excellent teaching and learning.</li>
</ul>
<p>You will have attained, or be pursuing, the following qualifications:</p>
<ul>
<li>postgraduate qualifications or Masters in Leadership, Religion, Theology or a relevant educational field</li>
<li>requirements of <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">(Category E)</a> as per <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach and Lead</a> or agree to meet these requirements in your first contract term.</li>
