We are currently seeking Early Childhood Teachers and Assistants to commence in 2025.

<p>There may be a requirement for flexibility to work on a rotational shift roster basis. There is a requirement for some duties need to be performed outside of normal classroom hours. </p><p><strong>About the EC Teacher Roles:</strong></p><p>The<strong> </strong>Early Childhood Teacher position is for a highly motivated teacher who has a strong familiarity with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework and a sound understanding of best practice. </p><p>You will provide an age-appropriate learning environment for children based on the Steiner philosophy and lead in all aspects of quality education and care. The successful applicants need to be passionate about adopting the Orana early childhood curriculum. We encourage anyone who is looking for a change and wants to reignite their passion for education to apply. </p><p><strong>EC Teacher Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent)</li><li>Current Working with Vulnerable People registration</li><li>First Aid certificate</li><li>ACT TQI registration</li><li>Food Safety training.</li></ul><p><strong>About the EC Assistant Roles:</strong></p><p>The Early Childhood Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Early Childhood Teacher in implementing our Steiner Early Childhood Program. The assistant helps create a warm, nurturing environment while working collaboratively with the teacher in the background.</p><p>Key responsibilities include preparing activities, managing domestic tasks such as morning tea preparation and cleaning, and supervising children aged three to six years both indoors and outdoors. This position requires a strong partnership with the teacher and a deep understanding of the children’s developmental needs in alignment with Steiner principles. </p><p><strong>EC Assistant Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum Certificate III in Children’s Services </li><li>Diploma in Children&#39;s Services (or equivalent) highly desirable</li><li>First Aid certificate</li><li>Current Working with Vulnerable People (WwVP) registration</li><li>Food Safety training.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>The successful candidates for both roles must also be eligible to work in Australia.</li><li>While Steiner experience and qualifications are not essential, the right attitude and a willingness to learn are a must. Support and guidance will be provided to successful candidates without a Steiner background.</li></ul><p><strong>Teachers</strong> are employed in accordance with the <i>Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021. </i>Salary and conditions are determined by this award. Enterprise Bargaining for the next MEA is currently underway. </p><p><strong>Assistants</strong> are currently employed under the <i>Independent Schools ACT (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021. </i>Salary and conditions are determined by this award.
