We are seeking an RFF Teacher with a dedicated focus on teaching Music and Drama across all years K-6.

<p>Mount Annan Christian College (MACC) is a co-educational Prep to Year 12 Christian College in the Macarthur region. MACC is highly valued for its nurturing, caring community, and is recognised as a leader in the implementation of innovation in education, with a focus on developing the potential within each child and positioning them to enjoy a life of purpose. </p><p>Due to continued growth at Mount Annan Christian College, we are seeking a qualified, passionate, engaging, innovative and dynamic teacher to fill the role of an RFF Teacher with a focus on Performance Arts (Music and Drama) in our Primary School.</p><p>This is a permanent full time position, commencing in 2025, as an RFF Teacher with a dedicated focus on teaching Music and Drama as mandated by the NESA Creative Arts Syllabus across all years K-6.</p><p>An additional teaching allocation may be required to teach Christian Studies as part of our Release from Face to Face (RFF) program.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Ideal Candidate</strong></p><p>The successful candidate will be an energetic educator who is motivated by thinking differently about teaching and learning and who is driven by the creation of engaging and dynamic learning experiences for our students. </p><p>Candidates must:</p><ul><li>Be energetic, enthusiastic and demonstrate a willingness to grow through the sharing of best practice and professional experience</li><li>Have a passion for Music and Drama education </li><li>Plan, deliver and assess programs in accordance with the NSW Creative Arts Syllabus across K-6</li><li>Support our CAPA team with performance opportunities for students and classes to perform at assemblies, special events, musicals etc</li><li>An understanding of or a willingness to learn about the Kodaly Music methodology</li><li>Demonstrate a passion for both teaching and pursuing innovative thinking through differentiated classroom learning approaches</li><li>Possess excellent communications skills both written and verbal, as well as excellent time management skills</li><li>Participate in pastoral and co-curricular programs, including student wellbeing initiatives, school camps and excursions</li><li>Be registered as a Teacher with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Be a committed Christian with a strong understanding of their faith and a willingness as the timetable requires, to teach our Christian Studies program K-6</li><li>Have a current Working With Children Clearance</li><li>Have an ability to assent to the School&#39;s Statement of Faith</li></ul>
