We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning and Capability Manager in a newly created role within the People and Culture team.
<p><strong>Learning and Capability Manager </strong></p><p>St Joseph’s offers an inclusive and non-discriminating learning community to young people, who for a variety of reasons, make the choice to attend a specialised learning environment. St Joseph’s operates across multiple campuses, located in North Melbourne, Geelong, Colac, Ballarat, and a dual engagement virtual learning campus, BlendED. The young people who attend have typically experienced one or more significant and complex educational, social, developmental, psychological, health, legal or familial situations which demand unique responses. Such interventions are embedded within the Operation By Principles framework, which combine education with an understanding of trauma-informed practice. </p><p>We are seeking an enthusiastic Learning and Capability Manager in a newly created role within the People and Culture team. This role will work closely with senior leaders to develop and deliver frameworks, programs and initiatives that enhance staff performance and capability, and create a culture that is safe, inclusive and engaging. </p><p>This role is responsible for leadership and staff development, career and succession planning and mandatory compliance training. The incumbent will also design and deliver staff induction programs and manage staff engagement and wellbeing initiatives and a data, reporting and analytics function. </p><p>This role is a full-time 1.0 FTE ongoing position, based at our Carlton office, working both in the office and from home, with travel to school sites.
