<p><strong>Cathedral Catholic Primary School, Bathurst</strong><br><strong>Permanent, Full Time Position</strong><br><strong>Commencing 14th October 2024</strong><br><strong>From $37.94 per hour (based on skills and experience)</strong></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong><br>As the Administration and Publicity Officer you will be pivotal in shaping the first impressions of our school. Serving as the initial point of contact for students, parents and visitors, you will manage a variety of enquiries and will have the opportunity to build strong relationships and create a positive experience for our school community.</p><p>Your key responsibilities will include;</p><ul><li><u>Welcome, Support and Communication</u>: Act as the primary contact for students, parents, and visitors, addressing enquiries and providing exceptional customer service.</li><li><u>Enrolment Management</u>: Analyse enrolment data, identify new opportunities, and manage enquiries. Schedule enrolment meetings, school tours and support the conversion of enquiries into enrolments.</li><li><u>Student Services</u>: Oversee and manage all aspects of student records, attendance and excursion logistics.</li><li><u>First Aid &amp; Sick Bay</u>: Administer first aid and medications to students, supervise the sick bay and manage all related documentation, including maintaining the accident/incident register.</li><li><u>Publicity</u>: Oversee and enhance parent engagement through the school’s social media platforms, creating and curating content to foster community and engagement.</li><li><u>Relationship Building</u>: Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective families, current students, and the wider community to promote the school’s values and mission<br><br><br>&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>About You&nbsp;(Selection Criteria)</strong><br>We are looking for someone who is able to address the following selection criteria:</p><ul><li>Minimum 4 years experience in an administrative role.</li><li>Certificate III or above in Business Administration.</li><li>Experience in providing high quality customer service in a busy and fast paced environment.</li><li>Ability to connect with people through well-developed verbal and written communication ensuring accuracy and an approachable style.</li><li>Professional presentation and courteous manner enabling professional, flexible and friendly working relationships.</li><li>Highly proficient in navigating and using Google platforms and information management systems.</li><li>Experience using various social media platforms with exceptional writing skills and a knack for creating engaging content.</li><li>Ability to prioritise, organise, and complete work within established deadlines and maintain a consistent level of professionalism.</li><li>Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)</li></ul><p><strong>About Our Offer</strong></p><ul><li>76 hours working fortnight</li><li>Work school terms plus 1 week of each school holidays (paid throughout the year)</li><li>Generous remuneration package</li><li>Positive, engaging, and supportive culture</li><li>An organisation who is committed to fostering professional growth and provides various opportunities for ongoing training and development</li><li>Benefit from being part of a larger network within the Catholic Education system and create strong, lifelong networks</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><br><strong>About Us</strong><br>Responsible for 33 schools, approximately 9,600 students and 1,700 staff, Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst (CEDB) is encompassed by the Blue Mountains, Warrumbungle Ranges, the Pilliga, Macquarie River, Lachlan River, Abercrombie River and the Jenolan State Forest.
