St Peter's School, Clayton is looking for an enthusiastic teacher to take on the role of a newly created STEM specialist position to start in 2025.

<p>The STEM teacher at St Peter’s will<strong> </strong>create an environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and innovation among students drawing from the Science, Technologies and Maths learning areas of the Victorian Curriculum 2.0 and the Critical and Creative thinking capability.</p><p>Our community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p><p> The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>A thorough understanding of the role of a STEM specialist teacher and ability to deliver relevant and challenging lessons</li><li>Understand the content of the STEM curriculum and create learning approaches that engage students, enhancing and enabling each student to learn</li><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Ability to build positive and cooperative relationships with students, parents and colleagues</li><li>Commitment to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all students, complying with all child safety policies</li><li>Commitment to the ethos of a Catholic school.</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>VIT registration is essential<br />Accreditation to teach Religious Education would be an advantage</p><p> </p><p>We reserve the right to appoint before the closing date.</p>
