Sacred Heart College is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and appropriately qualified Secondary Outdoor Education Teacher to join our staff in a replacement capacity for 12 months

<p><strong>Secondary Outdoor Education </strong></p><p><strong>Sacred Heart College</strong></p><p><strong>New Town, TAS</strong></p><p> </p><p>Teacher:  1.0 FTE</p><p>Parental Leave Replacement Position</p><p>1st February 2025 – 18th December 2025</p><p>Commencing: 1st February 2025 </p><p><strong>About our College:</strong></p><p>Sacred Heart College is a Kindergarten to Year 10 Co-educational Catholic College based on the charism of the Sisters of St Joseph, located in the central Hobart suburb of New Town.</p><p>As a Josephite College with an enrolment of over 980 students, we work to provide our students with a well-rounded Catholic education, encouraging a life-long love of learning.</p><p>Sacred Heart College is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and suitably qualified teacher to join our community in the position of Secondary Teacher of Outdoor Education. This position is also responsible for coordinating the Secondary Year Level Annual Camps.</p><p>To be eligible applicants are required to:</p><ul><li>Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</li><li>Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching.</li><li>Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.</li><li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.</li><li>Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.</li></ul><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018. </p><p>We demonstrate our commitment to Reconciliation by encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.</p><p>To download an Application Package and Application for Employment form click the link below.
