The Education Officer: NTCET Senior Secondary contributes to and promotes the development of a senior secondary program that reflects the specific needs of individual urban, regional and remote secondary contexts.

<p><strong>FULL-TIME |  SALARY EDUCATION OFFICER LEVEL 1 - $138,504 PLUS SUPER |</strong> </p><p><strong>INITIAL 2 YEAR CONTRACT   | COMMENCING NOVEMBER 2024 OR JANUARY 2025</strong></p><p><strong>The Organisation:</strong></p><p>Catholic Education in the Northern Territory is a network of schools built on Christian values and on the history and traditions of this land across Australia&#39;s top end. Catholic Education has a network of 18 schools in the Northern Territory - five colleges, seven primary schools, one flexible learning centre and five remote schools and Early Learning Centres.</p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>The Education Officer: Senior Secondary NTCET contributes to and promotes the development of a senior secondary program that reflects the specific needs of individual urban, regional and remote secondary contexts. They support a culture of reflection, self-review and continuous improvement and build the capacity of school leadership teams and teachers. They ensure suitable pathways for attaining NTCET are provided for senior secondary students in CENT schools.</p><p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledge and experience of the requirements of SACE and NTCET</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary research and development in 21st century secondary curriculum, pedagogy, wellbeing and school leadership</li><li>Appropriate and successful secondary classroom teaching experience</li><li>Capacity to work independently and in a team</li><li>Proven capacity to work with leadership and staff in schools</li><li>Registered as a teacher in the Northern Territory or eligibility to obtain registration</li><li>Holder of the Northern Territory Police SAFE NT Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card) or eligibility to obtain clearance</li></ul><p><strong>What we Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary</li><li>Salary Sacrificing up to $15,900</li><li>Relocation Assistance up to $ 2,000.00</li><li>Excellent Work Life Balance – Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM</li><li>Funded Professional Development</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li></ul><p>This position involves working with children.
