Redeemer College is seeking an experienced Teacher Librarian to take on this full time permanent position commencing 1 January 2025. The Teacher Librarian – Years 7 to 12, is responsible for the development of information resources and services in the Senior School. The Teacher Librarian – Years 7 to 12 will work cooperatively with the team of library staff to manage the facilities, services, collections and programs in the Senior School Resource Centre.About the role:The position includes (but is not limited to) the following:<ul><li>Integration of learning technologies into Learning and Teaching</li><li>Support of the educational programmes in the Senior School</li><li>Manage the facilities, collections and programs of the Senior School Resource Centre</li><li>Supporting ongoing Professional Development/Professional Learning</li><li>Willingness to contribute to diverse and inclusive communities and accept the responsibility to uphold the Christian Ethos of the College. </li></ul>Skills and Experience:<ul><li>Teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers or eligibility for such registration.</li><li>Relevant tertiary qualifications with 2-3 years’ experience in a Senior School Resource setting.</li><li>Demonstrated success in building positive relationships with students and providing excellent pastoral care to support their wellbeing and learning.</li></ul> Position Descriptions are available at <a href="http://www.redeemer.com.au/about-us/employment" rel="nofollow">www.redeemer.com.au/about-us/employment</a>
