Frensham Junior School is seeking to appoint a creative and dynamic Visual Arts Teacher on a part-time basis from Term 1, 2025.

They are taught to value kindness, resilience, empathy and compassion, and to carry these attributes with them for life, alongside the School’s core values.</p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>Frensham Junior School is seeking to appoint a creative and dynamic <strong>Visual Arts Teacher</strong> on a part-time basis from Term 1, 2025.</p><p>In this role, you&#39;ll play a pivotal part in nurturing a love for art, helping students explore their creativity and self-expression through diverse artistic mediums. We&#39;re seeking a candidate with an excellent understanding of art content and curriculum who can inspire and elevate our students&#39; artistic journey.</p><p>The ideal candidate will be an experienced Primary School Visual Arts Teacher with a flair for innovative and engaging teaching. You&#39;ll bring a strong understanding and appreciation of effective student learning strategies, complemented by excellent communication and organisational skills. Your ability to collaborate effectively in planning and delivering the curriculum will be key to your success in this role.</p><p><strong>Role Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Creation and implementation of engaging, rigorous planned Visual Arts learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of primary aged students.</li><li>Sound knowledge in developing a K-6 Visual Arts Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies.</li><li>Thorough understanding of the teaching and learning cycle, including the role of assessment and feedback.</li><li>Demonstrated excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being.</li><li>Integration of technology and a variety of artistic mediums to enhance contemporary learning experiences.</li><li>Curating and coordinating annual art events and competitions to celebrate student achievements.</li><li>Possession of appropriate teaching and tertiary qualifications relevant to the position.</li><li>Accreditation according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li><li>Personal commitment to ongoing professional learning. </li><li>Flexibility and enthusiasm for working as part of a highly professional and motivated team.</li><li>Willingness to contribute to the full life of the School, through co-curricular involvement. </li><li>Commitment to the values and ethos of Frensham Schools.</li></ul><p><i>All staff at Frensham Schools take an active role in ensuring our Child Protection programs, policies and processes are at the forefront of all that we do.
