<p>For the commencement of the 2025 school year, we are seeking to appoint a Learning and Teaching Coach - Science at our Clyde North campus. Positions of Leadership (POL) at the College have an initial tenure of 3 years and are attached to a full-time and permanent teaching position. After a successful mid-term review, a further 3 years will be offered. The Learning and Teaching Coach – Science Coach attracts a POL Level 2 allowance. We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about teaching and have the ability to provide an engaging program to the students using contemporary teaching methods. Learning and Teaching Coaches work with the Deputy Principal, Learning and Teaching to provide pedagogical leadership to the staff in their faculty. Our ideal candidate: • Has the experience, and the qualifications to teach Years 7 – VCE Science. • Demonstrated ability to lead a committed and dynamic team of educators. • An understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and different teaching methodologies. • Excellent communication skills. • Competent in digital technologies. • An appreciation of the ethos and practices of a Catholic College. The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children and will hold current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration. Salary In accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Agreement 2022, from 1 January 2025, the salary range for all teaching staff is $78,801 – $116,894. The Position of Leadership is a Level 2 Allowance, being $6,264 per annum.</p>
