This position requires an educator who is innovative, future focused and has a passion for working collaboratively.&nbsp;<br>The successful applicant will be an experienced Technology and Applied Studies teacher with the capacity to teach across the Technology and Applied Studies syllabus, including the Mandatory Technology course, implementation of digital technologies, mixed materials and engineered systems in Stage 4 and 5 and the necessary qualifications and experience teaching Stage 5 &amp; 6 Textiles and Design &amp; Technology.<br><br>To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p><ul><li>knowledge of and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School</li><li>ability to develop students' interests, abilities and coordination by way of creative activities</li><li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li><li>demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being</li><li>utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress</li><li>employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback</li><li>enthusiasm to be part of a school with a focus on building community</li><li>experience in teaching VET Hospitality or willingness to be trained</li><li>experience teaching Stage 5 and 6 Textiles and Design &amp; Technology</li><li>confident in the use of Adobe Creative Suite</li><li>integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per<a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"> Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
