<p>St Bede’s is  seeking a dynamic and skilled teacher to join a staff of dedicated teachers in an ongoing full time position. The teaching position will also  include a POL position of  Teaching and Learning or Literacy leader.</p><p> Our Leaders collaborate with and lead teachers to develop and implement evidence-based teaching practices. They will have demonstrated experience in leading teams across curriculum areas, in particular, Literacy, and Learning and Teaching a Knowledge Rich Curriculum.</p><p>The position will commence on 28th January 2025.</p><p>Applicants are asked to demonstrate experience in the following:</p><ul><li>an understanding and working knowledge of the Science of Learning and how this impacts student outcomes</li><li>working collaboratively with staff to enhance their capacity to deliver evidence based teaching practices through teaching</li><li>facilitating planning sessions and modelling implemented practices </li><li>prepare and facilitate professional development for staff in line with the School Improvement Plan</li><li>observing classroom instruction to provide feedback and determine next steps for teachers</li><li>understanding Positive Behaviours for Learning (PBL) and the implementation of this to create safe and effective teaching and learning environments</li><li>a willingness to participate in and teach French in our ‘Teachers as co-learners’ languages program</li><li>a willingness to adhere to St Bede’s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359</li><li>build and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents</li><li>work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams</li><li>support the Catholic ethos of the school and teach the RE program</li></ul><p>St Bede&#39;s is a child safe school</p><p>The successful applicant will require</p><p>• VIT registration</p><p>• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school .</p><p>St Bede’s Primary School is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p><p> </p>
