<p>An exciting opportunity exists to welcome a new staff member to Annunciation.  We are seeking the expertise of a Learning and Teaching Leader.</p><p>The Learning and Teaching Leader plays a crucial role within a Catholic primary school, shaping the educational experience of our students ensuring that the delivery of the curriculum is both effective and aligned with our Catholic values. The Learning and Teaching Leader will collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and parents to foster a nurturing and dynamic learning environment that supports the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of every child.</p><p>The position is a 2 year appointment with an ongoing teaching position and future opportunity to extend tenure in this role.</p><p>Applicants are asked to demonstrate:<br /> </p><p>an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues</p><p>a proven ability to lead others</p><p>an ability to work collaboratively in a team</p><p>a capacity to use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching</p><p>a strong commitment to Catholic education and Catholic identity</p><p>the willingness to be actively involved in the school and parish communities</p><p>a passion for building strong partnerships and links between our families and school</p><p>a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development</p><p>an ability to plan and implement engaging programs using knowledge of contemporary learning and teaching practices</p><p>an ability to, or willingness to, work with students from diverse cultural backgrounds</p><p>the willingness to adhere to Annunciation’s Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359</p><p>a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check.</p><p>The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
