St Vincent’s College is seeking a highly motivated and passionate TAS Teacher.

<p><strong>ST VINCENT’S COLLEGE</strong></p><p><strong>TAS TEACHER</strong></p><p><strong>Position to start Term 1, 2025</strong></p><p><strong>Closing Date for Applications: 30th September 2024</strong></p><p>St Vincent’s College is seeking to appoint a professional and enthusiastic teacher to join our Creative Arts department (TAS and Visual Arts). The successful candidate would be qualified to teach TAS subjects across Stages 4-6.  This position is a full-time permanent position from the beginning of Term 1, 2025 (Monday 28th January 2025) and would suit a new graduate willing to learn or an experienced teacher.  </p><p>Ability to teach Technology Mandatory is essential. </p><p>Experience or willingness to teach Stage 6 Design and Technology and / or Stage 5 Food Technology would be an advantage.</p><p>The successful applicant will have a commitment to education and to the discipline of Technology. They will demonstrate pleasure in classroom teaching of students across a range of ability levels and the ability to work cooperatively with a committed and enthusiastic department. We are seeking a teacher willing to learn and grow alongside their students and colleagues.</p><p><strong>Key position criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Qualifications for and/or experience as a classroom teacher TAS teacher.</li><li>Specialist skills in one or more TAS elective area.</li><li>Experience and/or willingness to undertake Stage 6 Teaching in one of these courses.</li><li>Intelligent understanding of the connection between emotional and educational growth and willingness to support shared principles and practices in maintaining safe, inclusive and productive learning environments.</li><li>Experience and or willingness to guide students towards personal, social and technological competence in using Digital Technologies.</li><li>Collaborative teaching and work practices. Strong communication skills, effective record keeping and ability to manage workflow and demands.</li><li>An ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth.</li></ul><p><i>St Vincent’s College is an equal opportunity employer.
