MLC School is looking for an organised International Baccalaureate (IB) Coordinator to join the school on a full time, permanent basis.

Our highly professional staff, under the guidance of Principal Ms Lisa Moloney, challenge girls and encourage them to question traditional perceptions and roles of women.</p><p> </p><p>The MLC School girl is at the heart of everything we do.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About the position</strong><br />The IB Coordinator role reports to the Deputy Head of Senior School (Academic) and is tasked with leading and coordinating the curriculum in line with the International Baccalaureate Programme&#39;s requirements, ensuring it aligns with the School&#39;s learning philosophies, policies, and practices. This role includes a teaching component and requires a consistent demonstration of a passion for learning and teaching, as well as providing differentiated instruction tailored to the individual needs of all students.<br /><br />In this role, you will manage the professional development plan for staff involved in the IB Diploma Programme, offering support and guidance in addressing parent concerns. Responsibilities include administering all aspects of the IB Diploma Programme, such as examinations, IBIS uploads, overseeing the Extended Essay, CAS, and TOK, and representing the school at IB conferences and forums. Collaboration with the Heads of Year, Middle and Senior Year Welfare teams is essential to ensure students achieve their academic potential.
