<p>The Catholic Schools Office of Maitland-Newcastle invites applications for casual teaching positions within the Manning region.<br>Whether you are a retired educator seeking flexible opportunities, someone looking for a better work-life balance, or a brand-new teacher eager to kickstart your career, this is an excellent opportunity for you! <br><br>As part of our esteemed network, you will contribute to the academic, spiritual, physical, and emotional development of students across 58 schools situated in urban, rural, and regional areas.<br>Our team is comprised of over 1,200 educators and 550 support staff members, all dedicated to fostering a nurturing and effective learning environment.<br><br>We are seeking qualified and dedicated professionals to join our team on a casual basis in the Manning region.<br><br><br><br><a href="https://diocesemn.azurewebsites.net/media/5494/position_description_-_cso_-_classroom_teacher.pdf"><strong>POSITION DESCRIPTION</strong></a><br><br><br>Teachers within our Catholic schools hold a distinctive and vital role, entrusted with fostering the holistic development of each student—academically, spiritually, and personally. Following this, our People and Culture team will review your application. If you are shortlisted, you will be contacted to complete the pre-screening process, which includes NESA registration, Working with Children Check, National Criminal Check, and other requirements.<br><br>Upon successful completion and approval, you will receive a casual employment contract, allowing you to engage with our schools through ClassCover. If you have previously worked with the Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle, please note that you will still need to undergo pre-screening. Be sure to indicate this in your application.<br><br>Please be aware that employment within our Diocese can only commence once the pre-screening process is completed, and you have received a casual contract and a green tick on ClassCover.</li></ul>
