<p><strong>Director of Curriculum, Data and Pedagogy – POL 3 & 0.33 FTE time release</strong></p><p>With the opening of our new STEM Centre in Term 4 and exciting developments across the College, we are seeking a passionate and experienced teacher for the position of <strong>Director of Curriculum, Data and Pedagogy</strong> to lead, motivate, and challenge our staff in delivering an innovative and high-quality curriculum tailored to meet the specific needs of our students.</p><p>This pivotal role focuses on using data-driven insights to enhance teaching practices, supporting staff development through instructional leadership, and promoting collaboration across faculties. The Director will work closely with the Principal and Deputy Principals to ensure the continuous improvement of teaching and learning outcomes while fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the analysis and utilisation of data to drive curriculum planning and improve student outcomes</li><li>Foster professional growth through instructional leadership and building Professional Learning Teams (PLTs)</li><li>Ensure the delivery of contemporary and innovative curriculum across all learning areas</li><li>Oversee the design and implementation of formative and summative assessments</li><li>Support staff in aligning their teaching practices with AITSL standards and evidence-based pedagogical methods</li><li>Promote a collaborative culture within the College, enabling staff to share skills, knowledge, and ideas.</li></ul><p>The position will commence at the beginning of the 2025 school year and will hold an ongoing teaching role on appointment, with a leadership tenure of 2 years. Ideally the successful candidate will also be able to cover a 0.67 FTE teaching load in an area the school is currently seeking to fill.
