<p><strong>Design and Technology Teacher – Full time commencing end January 2025</strong></p><p>Due to long-serving staff retirements, strong growth, and other staff relocating, Scone Grammar School is seeking to fill the following position in 2025.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>An opportunity now exists for a TAS/Design and Technology Teacher to join a team of hard-working dedicated professionals. The applicant must be a passionate and professional educator with experience teaching Technology Mandatory, Design and Technology, and/or Industrial Technology to students in Year 7 to Year 12. Ability and experience teaching Digital Technology and iStem is advantageous but not essential.</p><p>The applicant should have a proven history as a lifelong learner and possess a genuine desire for self-improvement, as well as a passion about student wellbeing.</p><p><strong>About us</strong></p><p>Scone Grammar School (SGS) is an Anglican Co-Educational School for positive, flourishing learners from Preschool to Year 12. Beautiful National Parks including Towarri, Burning Mountain Reserve, and Barrington Tops provide abundant wildlife, while Lake Glenbawn hosts superb freshwater fishing and water sport opportunities. </p><p><strong>Qualifications and Experience: </strong></p><ul><li>Relevant tertiary qualifications in education.</li><li>Valid teaching accreditation and registration.</li><li>Proven experience as a classroom teacher.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team environment.</li><li>A passion for student learning and development, with a focus on improving educational outcomes.</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>Prior experience in a leadership or coordinator role.</li></ul><p>The successful applicant will be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our SGS team.
