Frensham Schools is seeking a full-time Marketing and Engagement Manager who will be responsible for creating, implementing, monitoring, analysing and reporting on Frensham’s social media, advertising and content strategies and engagement activities to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and drive engagement.

They are taught to value kindness, resilience, empathy and compassion, and to carry these attributes with them for life, alongside the School’s core values.</p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the <strong>Marketing and Engagement Manager </strong>is responsible for creating, implementing, monitoring, analysing and reporting on Frensham’s social media, advertising and content strategies and engagement activities to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts and drive engagement. The Marketing and Engagement Manager plays a crucial role in developing and implementing content across various channels. They are a creative thinker with exceptional writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for producing engaging and informative content.</p><p>The Marketing and Engagement Manager also has strong organisational skills and experience in optimising and streamlining marketing processes and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness. They are responsible for managing and executing various marketing operations tasks, including data management, analytics and campaign optimisation to support the marketing and communications team and Frensham Schools in achieving its objectives.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ol><li><p>Being able to reflect, articulate and promote the mission, values and culture of Frensham Schools.</p><p><strong><u>Digital and traditional marketing and communications:</u></strong></p></li><li>Ongoing monitoring and development of Frensham Schools websites to maintain accuracy, drive enrolments and optimise SEO.</li><li>SEO: Optimising content to improve visibility and organic traffic, including keyword research and on-page optimisation across all digital channels.</li><li>Developing promotional strategies that align with and communicate Frensham Schools mission, values, culture and differentiators. Implementing the necessary tactics and ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget. </li><li>Using AI to improve the effectiveness of messaging and increase reach.</li><li>Collaborating with staff to create compelling visuals and editorial copy.</li><li>Monitoring social media channels for stakeholder feedback/questions and increasing engagement by responding promptly, professionally and in a manner that aligns with the Schools’ values and brand.</li><li>Tracking, analysing and reporting on key metrics (including competitor’s activities) to provide insights into the effectiveness of marketing and communications campaigns to enable optimisation.</li><li><p>Staying current with social media trends and best practices.</p><p><strong><u>Content creation and publications:</u></strong></p></li><li>Content Strategy: Collaborating with staff to assist in developing and implementing content strategies and content calendars for multimedia purposes that support marketing objectives, enhance brand awareness and drive engagement. </li><li>Content Creation: Developing compelling and high-quality content for various uses including website copy, editorial, stories, publications, videos, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns and marketing collateral. All content needs to effectively communicate key messages, engage the target audience, be brand appropriate and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone. </li><li>Publication Management: Coordinating the production and distribution of publications, such as newsletters, brochures, prospectuses and booklets ensuring content is accurate, timely, and aligns with brand guidelines.</li><li>Performance Analysis: Where possible, monitor and analyse the performance of content initiatives using relevant metrics and tools and make data-driven recommendations for optimisation.</li><li>Editing and Proofreading: Reviewing and editing content produced by other staff members to ensure accuracy, consistency and adherence to style guidelines.</li><li><p>Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities and stakeholder preferences to inform content development and strategy.</p><p><strong><u>Marketing Operations</u>:</strong></p></li><li>Managing and maintaining the integrity of databases, ensuring accuracy and completeness of customer and prospect information. </li><li>Supporting the Director of Enrolments to optimise engagement in the enrolment funnel where necessary.</li><li>Working with current systems (Synergetic, Enquiry Tracker and Schoolbox) to support campaign execution and lead management processes. Segment data for targeted marketing campaigns and personalisation efforts.</li><li><p>Coordinating marketing campaigns and events by setting up email distributions, landing pages, forms, and other campaign assets. Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with marketing objectives and timelines.</p><p><strong><u>Other:</u></strong></p></li><li>Work to engage students in marketing and engagement activities where possible.</li><li>Other tasks and duties as directed by the Head of School or Director of Marketing and Communications. </li></ol><p><strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong></p><ol><li>Is able to reflect, articulate and promote the mission, values and culture of Frensham Schools.</li><li>Holds a Degree in Communications, Marketing or a related field.</li><li>Has exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to respond to feedback in a manner which is positive and brand appropriate.</li><li>Is proficient in developing compelling and high-quality content for various uses including website copy, editorial, stories, publications, videos, blog posts, social media posts, email campaigns and marketing collateral. All content needs to effectively communicate key messages, engage the target audience, be brand appropriate and consistent in terms of style, quality and tone. </li><li>Has strong editing and proof-reading skills.</li><li>Has strong organisational skills, attention to detail and can work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.</li><li>Has experience in planning, creating, implementing, monitoring and analysing social media content. Also has strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make data-driven recommendations.</li><li>Has proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems and marketing analytics tools.</li><li>Has creative thinking and problem-solving abilities along with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.</li><li>Basic graphic design skills would be desirable (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).</li></ol><p><strong><u>Additional Information:</u></strong></p><p>This position will require working outside of regular business hours for various reasons but particularly to monitor and respond to social media activity, manage campaigns and occasionally assist with events.</p><p><i>All staff at Frensham Schools take an active role in ensuring our Child Protection programs, policies and processes are at the forefront of all that we do.
