Commencing in 2025, we are seeking a highly-skilled leader who is committed to sustaining high-quality teaching, learning and Wellbeing practices at St George Preca School. A post-graduate qualification in Wellbeing is highly desirable (or the willingness to undertake further study).

St George Preca Parish Primary School in the Parish of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs. The 2025 enrolment is approx. 725 students from Prep to Grade 6.

Year Level/Subject: Wellbeing (ongoing teaching position with a POL 2 for Wellbeing Leadership - a 2-year contract).

Applicants must:

  • demonstrate a strong commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education
  • contribute as a member of the Leadership and Learning Diversity Teams
  • promote a whole school approach to Wellbeing to students, staff, and families
  • support teachers and school staff to expand their capacity to embed evidence-based Wellbeing strategies and programs
  • build mental health literacy to identify and support primary school students with mental health concerns.
  • collaborate with the school psychologist to coordinate clear referral pathways internally (within the school) and externally (to community services) for students identified as requiring further assessment and intervention.
  • support teachers in the classroom with the implementation of the PERMAH framework
  • demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning, teaching and assessment
  • demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with colleagues, parents and students
  • be committed to personal and professional growth
  • have registration (or eligibility) with V.I.T
  • have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School
