Commencing in 2025, we are seeking a highly-skilled leader who is committed to sustaining high-quality teaching, learning and Wellbeing practices at St George Preca School. A post-graduate qualification in Wellbeing is highly desirable (or the willingness to undertake further study).

<p>Commencing in 2025, we are seeking a highly-skilled leader who is committed to sustaining high-quality teaching, learning and Wellbeing practices at St George Preca School. A post-graduate qualification in Wellbeing is highly desirable (or the willingness to undertake further study).</p><p>St George Preca Parish Primary School in the Parish of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs. The 2025 enrolment is approx. 725 students from Prep to Grade 6.</p><p>Year Level/Subject: Wellbeing (ongoing teaching position with a POL 2 for Wellbeing Leadership - a 2-year contract).</p><p>Applicants must:</p><ul><li>demonstrate a strong commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education</li><li>contribute as a member of the Leadership and Learning Diversity Teams</li><li>promote a whole school approach to Wellbeing to students, staff, and families</li><li>support teachers and school staff to expand their capacity to embed evidence-based Wellbeing strategies and programs </li><li>build mental health literacy to identify and support primary school students with mental health concerns.</li><li>collaborate with the school psychologist to coordinate clear referral pathways internally (within the school) and externally (to community services) for students identified as requiring further assessment and intervention.</li><li>support teachers in the classroom with the implementation of the PERMAH framework</li><li>demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning, teaching and assessment</li><li>demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills with colleagues, parents and students</li><li>be committed to personal and professional growth</li><li>have registration (or eligibility) with V.I.T</li><li>have accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School</li></ul><p>Applicants should include a cover letter, resume and three referees, including their current Principal.
