We are seeking a full time, fixed term teacher, to teach Design and Technology (Woodwork) within our Senior College, High School and potentially upper Primary School.

<p><strong>Annual salary range *$81,886 - $126,580 per annum (*2024 rates) &#43; superannuation</strong></p><p>We are seeking a full time, fixed term teacher, to teach Design and Technology (Woodwork) within our Senior College, High School and potentially upper Primary School. You must also be able and willing to teach another subject/s.</p><p>This position is available to commence from Term 4, with the potential to continue into, or become permanent in 2025. You will be supported to grow and develop your own teaching through ongoing professional learning activities as well as mentoring through Orana’s College of Teachers.</p><p>The successful applicants will be enthusiastic and committed with relevant experience teaching Design and Technology (woodwork) and other D&amp;T subjects. Experience teaching Food Technology is desirable but not essential. You must be willing to teach at least one other subject. </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>The successful candidates will require:</p><ul><li>an understanding of the Australian Curriculum</li><li>experience teaching in the ACT BSSS or other Senior Secondary system</li><li>excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire young people</li><li>the skills and attitude to work collaboratively in a dynamic team setting</li><li>a strong commitment to student wellbeing; and</li><li>a willingness to be involved in the wider life of the School.</li></ul><p>You must also:</p><ul><li>hold a formal teaching qualification, specialising in Design and Technology / Arts areas</li><li>hold ACT TQI registration </li><li>hold a current WwVP registration</li><li>be eligible to work in Australia.</li></ul><p>We welcome and encourage all candidates with teaching qualifications and experience teaching woodwork to apply. While Steiner experience or qualifications are not essential, a willingness to learn is required. Support and guidance will be provided to successful candidates without a Steiner background.</p><p>Salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the <i>Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021</i>.
