Following in the footsteps of Mary Ward, we are committed to developing courageous students able to thrive in a changing world.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Business Manager, the Risk &amp; Compliance Officer will be responsible for providing expert OH&amp;S, Risk, Compliance, Records Management and Emergency Management advice to facilitate the best practice across the College. </p><p>Key areas of responsibility include:</p><ul><li>Risk and compliance</li><li>Online risk and compliance systems</li><li>Occupational health and safety</li><li>Policy review and development</li><li>Maintenance of Risk registers</li><li>Preparation of reports on risk, compliance and incidents</li></ul><p><strong>Skills and experience</strong></p><ul><li>An awareness of, and commitment to the College&#39;s aims as a Catholic College</li><li>A demonstrated commitment to the safety, wellbeing and inclusion of all children</li><li>Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation as it applies to the educational setting</li><li>Experience in system development and maintenance</li><li>Previous experience in policy creation</li><li>Knowledge of Risk Management processes</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>Knowledge of Injury Management requirements as they apply to an educational setting</li><li>Collegial approach to managing OH&amp;S, fostering understanding and ownership</li><li>Strong communication skills and confidence to present to groups of people</li><li>A valid Working with Children Check and Police Check</li></ul><p>For further information on how to apply please refer to the College website </p><p><i>www.loreto.vic.edu.au/employment</i></p><p><strong>Applications close on Wednesday 25th September at 5pm. </strong>Applicants will be reviewed upon receipt of application.</p><p><i>The Loreto community promotes the safety and wellbeing and inclusion of all children.</i></p>
