The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of primary schooling and be at the forefront of modern pedagogy. In addition, the person who fills this position will be recognised as an exemplary teaching practitioner and demonstrate excellence in their own classroom performance.</p><p>The Head of Junior School position is based at our <strong>Blakeview School</strong> of Trinity College.  The position of  Head of Junior School will be appointed as a four year contract, with an underlying substantive of a full-time permanent teacher paid at a Position of Responsibility (POR) Level 4 standard and with a 12 lesson allocation for the role. The POR Level 4 allowance ($26,345) is paid in addition to your teaching step rate (eg. Teaching Step 10 $122,126 &#43; POR allowance).  The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of best practices of teaching, learning and wellbeing approaches.  The position description is attached. </p><p>This Junior School role has the following significant responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Staff leadership, management and care</li><li>Student leadership, management and care</li><li>School community relations</li><li>Curriculum support</li><li>General administration</li></ul><p><strong>Trinity College</strong> is a thriving multi-site, independent, co-educational Anglican College founded in a liberal educational tradition and located in the northern Adelaide region.
