Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Music Tutor to be part of our highly-regarded Performance Music program.

<p><strong>Position available for an enthusiastic Upper-Strings Music Tutor.</strong></p><p> </p><p>Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking to employ a suitably qualified, experienced and enthusiastic Violin &amp; Viola instructor. A Bachelor of Music in either Violin or Viola is essential, and Post-Graduate Education qualifications are an advantage. Also advantageous is high-level piano accompanying skills and/or conducting experience with students across multiple performance grades and Year Levels.</p><p> </p><p>The position is for an Instrumental Music Tutor who can provide at least 17 hours of Individual and Small Group Violin &amp; Viola tuition across at least three days.</p><p> </p><p>Your duties will include (but not be limited to):</p><ul><li>Delivering inclusive Violin and Viola (Individual and Group Tuition) lessons, including thoughtfully tailored planning, assessment and reporting;</li><li>Preparing students for College performances (ensembles, solo recitals, etc.);</li><li>Preparing students for AMEB examinations, Eisteddfodau, etc., as appropriate;</li><li>Participation in multiple College ensembles as a rehearsal assistant and/or accompanist;</li><li>Timetable management, ensuring consistency, accountability and accuracy;</li><li>Regular collaboration and communication with the College’s Classroom Music and Performance Music teams;</li><li>Proactively communicate with College families, including regular updates on student progress;</li><li>Willingness to engage in internal and external Professional Development programs;</li><li>Other general duties associated with the role of College Music Tutor.</li></ul><p><strong>The successful applicant will have the following skills and qualities</strong>:</p><ul><li>Display discretion, confidentiality, honesty and integrity in their relationships with all students and college staff;</li><li>Always present the College, its students, families and fellow staff members in the best possible light at all times;</li><li>Outstanding organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;</li><li>Maintain a high level of personal and professional presentation at all times;</li><li>Be positive in support of the college&#39;s traditions and Christian ethos.</li></ul><p>For further information about Redeemer Lutheran College please visit: www.redeemer.com.au.</p><p>Redeemer Lutheran College is committed to the wellbeing and safety of students in it care.  Blue Card legislation states a “No Card, No Start” policy.  This means that paid employees must hold a current Paid Blue Card/Exemption Card or be issued with a Paid Blue Card/Exemption Card before they can commence work.
