'Guitar' College Program Tutoring Part Time - 6 hours per fortnight Ongoing position, commencing Term 3 2024

<p><strong>About The Role</strong></p><p>St Patrick’s College enjoys a long tradition of excellence in music. Offering a wide range of ensembles, classroom music and private tuition, the program encourages students to improve their skills and meet like-minded students.  Offering well equipped music studios and expert teachers and tutors, the program provides an opportunity for students of all abilities to cultivate and fine tune their skills and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.  St Patrick&#39;s College is currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced applicants to provide individual Guitar tuition to College students. </p><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020. </p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>Music Tutors with appropriate qualifications and experience who can demonstrate the below, are encouraged to apply for this Music Tutor position:</p><ul><li>Ability to contribute to the mission of St Patrick’s College and the ethos of the College as a Catholic school.</li><li>Experience providing school based or private music tuition.</li><li>Knowledge and skills as a music tutor, including instruments and levels taught.</li><li>Knowledge, skills and experience as a musician, including instruments and level of proficiency.</li><li>Details of relevant training and qualifications.</li><li>Current or eligibility for registration with the Teachers Registration Board Tasmania (either full, provisional or limited authority to teach).</li><li>Current Working with Vulnerable People registration.</li><li>Details of availability for work as a music tutor i.e. days and hours.</li></ul><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing. The successful candidate will require satisfactory registrations relevant to child safety.</p><p><strong>About Us</strong></p><p>St Patrick’s is a Catholic co-educational Year 7-12 college of approximately 1,500 students with a strong academic culture that encourages individual students to develop to their full potential through a broad educational experience.
