The Opportunity
As part of St Patrick’s College commitment to expanding educational opportunities, we are excited to announce the launch of a new VET offering in Hairdressing & Beauty Services. We are seeking either an experienced professional in the Hairdressing & Beauty industry who is passionate about teaching and eager to complete their Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an experienced VET Teacher already established in the industry. This is a 12-month limited tenure part time (0.5 FTE / 36 hours per fortnight) position with the opportunity to lead and develop our new Hairdressing & Beauty Services VET program, providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in a rapidly evolving field.
In this role, you will deliver the Hairdressing & Beauty Services Training package within our VET program, focusing on units for Certificate II Salon Assistant and Certificate III Makeup. You will ensure the program meets industry standards, engage students through practical, hands-on training, and create a positive learning environment that supports student participation and growth. Additionally, you will provide mentorship and guidance to help students navigate their educational and career paths.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.
