The Assistant Dean of Learning will oversee the work of the Studies Coordinators across all KLAs and is a Curriculum Leadership Team (CLT) member.</p><p>The Assistant Dean of Learning (Senior School) significantly contributes to the overall work performed by the Learning Deanery by leading innovative, high-quality, and vibrant student learning within the context of the College's Strategic Plan.</p><p>The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, passionate, and committed to being a member of our team. All staff are expected to support the college's vision and goals as a learning community and contribute to all aspects of college life.</p><p>To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:</p><ul> <li>Master’s in education / educational leadership or similar (completed, in progress or intention to complete).</li> <li>Proven experience in a similar role (highly desirable).</li> <li>Proven experience as a middle leader with a minimum of 4-5 years (essential).</li> <li>Proven experience in leading a team (essential).</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to collaborate, plan, and provide effective leadership of school-wide learning initiatives.</li> <li>Experience in leading the development and implementation of quality differentiated pedagogy and authentic learning and assessment.</li> <li>Experience in collaborating with teachers and staff to build and improve teacher and middle leader capacity.</li> <li>Capacity to effectively collaborate with staff to analyse College data to inform practice and improve student outcomes.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in leading and sharing innovative professional learning and teaching practice.</li> <li>An understanding and commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teaching.</li> <li>Possess proven ability to incorporate modern technologies into their teaching practice and convey passion for classroom innovation.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>A commitment to the child safeguarding principles.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The Process</strong></p><p>If you meet the requirements of this position, then please <strong>click the Apply button</strong> to submit your online application, to the Principal of Rosebank College.</p><p>When you complete the <strong><em>online application</em></strong>, you will need to provide:</p><ul> <li>A copy of your CV;</li> <li>A cover letter;</li> <li>Upload copies of formal teaching qualifications including copies of transcripts;</li> <li>Provide details of your Current NESA Accreditation and approval to teach in NSW.</li></ul><p>Candidates that progress through our recruitment process, will be required to provide at least two (2) referees including the current employer.</p><p>Early applications are encouraged to assist the interview process.
