With a deliberate focus on student achievement, teaching and learning methodologies, school wellbeing, faith development, and resource programs, we seek to attract candidates who will help foster 'A daring faith and dynamic education, developing strong minds and gentle hearts' in our students.<br /><br />This role is a 3 point Coordinator role that will be part of the College Leadership Team and will have the capacity to work closely and collaboratively with the Director of Learning and Teaching. <br /> <br /><strong>Key Selection Criteria</strong><br /> <br />The successful applicant will be a highly effective teacher who demonstrates the following:</p>

<li>demonstrated understanding of effective classroom management techniques to promote a supportive and positive learning environment</li>
<li>ability to support the College's scholastic initiatives and promote its innovation in light of the Strategic Plan</li>
<li>prepared to undertake leadership mentoring and training from peers and develop and demonstrate strong professional relationships with colleagues</li>
<li>ability to foster collaborative relationships and effective communication with faculty staff, students, parents and external organisations</li>
<li>ability to think creatively, demonstrating an innovative mindset transforming ideas into action</li>
<li>ensures the delivery of the curriculum, assessment and reporting is compliant with NESA policies and procedures</li>
<li>capacity to lead the College in Stage 6 subject selection, NESA entries, and provide strategic leadership for the College's approach towards the Higher School Certificate</li>
<li>ability to support the transition of students from primary school into the College by coordinating student induction examinations</li>
<li>provide information and support to staff regarding current curriculum updates</li>
<li>exemplary understanding of quality assessment</li>
<li>excellent knowledge of NESA requirements, ACE Manual and NSW curriculum</li>
<li>analysis of student learning data that demonstrates value adding to student learning outcomes</li>
<li>ability to meet deadlines and demonstrate a focus on attention to detail</li>
<li>monitor and administer all external courses such as NSW School of Languages, Distance education, TAFE and SCCVC</li>
<li>monitor and support the VET department</li>
<li>coordinate NAPLAN and PAT testing in the school</li>
<li>carry out duties as directed by the Principal.</li>
</ul>
<p>You will have attained:</p>
<ul>
<li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li>
<li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li>
</ul>
