<p><strong>Learning Diversity Leader 0.4 FTE</strong></p><p>To begin in 2025.</p><p>St Paul’s is seeking a Learning Diversity Leader to join our dynamic leadership team.</p><p>The Learning Diversity Leader sets the direction for interventions and adjustments for students with diverse learning needs across all year levels ensuring every student’s opportunities for growth are maximised.</p><p><strong>The Learning Diversity Leader responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>To organise and monitor the documentation and collection of supporting evidence for National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD)  applications.</li><li>Collaborating with teachers to differentiate instruction, to provide learning experiences that meet the needs of individual students.</li><li>Providing professional development for teachers, to support them with knowledge and skills to effectively support students with diverse learning needs.</li><li>To lead teachers in the creation of effective goals and adjustments to meet student learning needs.</li><li>The ability to dialogue with staff in a collegial manner to achieve improved learning outcomes for students with additional needs through the setting of goals, creating PLP&#39;s and leading Program Support Group (PSG)  meetings.</li><li>To lead and oversee Learning Support Officers.</li><li>Collaborating with parents and families to establish effective partnerships, sharing strategies for supporting student learning at home and school.</li><li>The ability to effectively liaise with allied health professionals, support services, external specialists, parents and MACS to achieve the best outcomes for students with specific needs.</li><li>Collaborating with the school&#39;s leadership team to embed inclusive practices across the curriculum and school-wide programs.</li><li>Conducting assessments to identify students&#39; learning strengths and areas for improvement, utilising data to inform instructional planning and interventions.</li><li>Working closely with the school&#39;s leadership team to ensure compliance with NCCD, legal requirements, policies, and best practices related to inclusive education and learning diversity.</li><li>Monitor and track the progress of students with diverse learning needs.</li><li>Attend the Learning Diversity Network meetings providing relevant feedback to the Leadership Team and Staff.</li><li>Creating and maintaining a supportive and safe learning environment.</li></ul><p><strong>The succsseful applicant will have:</strong></p><ul><li>Well-developed interpersonal skills including a demonstrated ability to work and communicate within a team environment.</li><li>Proven organisational skills and capacity to show initiative in working independently and within a team.</li><li>The ability to model and induct staff in the understanding and use of the Intervention Framework and Disability Standard</li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.</li><li>Post-graduate qualifications.</li><li>A commitment to Child Safety and a knowledge of Child Safety Standards</li><li>Demonstrate a commitment to the ethos and practice of the Catholic School</li><li>Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching</li><li>Accreditation to teach Religious Education.</li></ul><p>Applications addressing the criteria and including the names of 3 referees should be made in writing and forwarded via email to - <strong>principal&#64;spcoburg.catholic.edu.au</strong> by 4pm on 11 September, 2024.</p><p> </p><p> </p>
