The primary responsibilities of the Information Librarian are to support the Information Learning Centre in the provision of service, materials and resources offered to staff and students at the College. This role will ensure that professional contact with the public is positive and welcoming and promotes the College Ignatian Ethos
<p><strong>FTE 1.0 Experienced Information Librarian 12 -Month Parental leave cover position. Category B.</strong></p><p>The key duties and responsibilities include collaborating with the ILC Manager on the &#34;Read On&#34; program and promoting information literacy across the curriculum. The role involves guiding students and teachers in selecting reading materials, developing LibGuides, co-planning learning units, and staying updated on new technologies and teaching methods. Additionally, the position requires managing the ILC website, maintaining a balanced collection of resources, and assisting with cataloging while ensuring effective resource utilisation.</p>
