<p><i><strong>Demonstrate Curriculum Leadership in the Primary School (Years P – 6) </strong></i></p><ul><li>Demonstrate knowledge, competence and confidence in the Australian Curriculum (v9) to ensure that the student learning is maximised.</li><li>Demonstrate competence in whole of (primary) school curriculum planning and provide leadership and guidance to teachers to ensure adequate coverage of Australian Curriculum content descriptors across all key learning areas (KLAs). </li><li>Review and provide feedback on primary teacher planning in a timely manner (i.e. within two weeks of submission) to ensure alignment with the Australian Curriculum and NSSAB compliance requirements.</li><li>Facilitate assessment moderation meetings (once per term) with primary school teachers.</li><li>Maintain Primary School Master Curriculum folder and documents in SharePoint.</li><li>Read and review all end of semester primary school student reports before the final Principal’s check.</li><li>Organise the collation of standardised data at the end of the semester and year in the primary school. </li><li>Facilitate a staff meeting/workshop where data is analysed collaboratively by teachers to inform their planning for the following semester/year.</li><li>Liaise with the Inclusive Education Coordinator about the inclusion, updating and maintenance of NCCD Primary student information and data.</li><li>Develop professional, caring relationships with students and staff while being part of a positive, focused learning environment.</li><li>Model best-practice in pedagogy according to the RLCB Pedagogical Framework.</li><li>Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers to celebrate achievements and improve pedagogy.</li><li>Attend regular Leadership meetings (including Teaching and Learning, Inclusive Education and Curriculum teams) and report on students of concern.</li></ul>
