<p><i><strong>Demonstrate Leadership in Pastoral Care, Behaviour Education/Relational Management and Coaching/Mentoring of Staff</strong></i></p><ul><li>Provide leadership and support in pastoral care, behaviour education/relational management and student well-being to primary teaching and support staff.</li><li>Advocate for students with staff.</li><li>Manage referred student behaviour issues as they arise and communicate to parents and staff in accordance with the school’s relational management flowchart.</li><li>Refer to and work with the principal to manage significant behaviour and well-being issues in accordance with the school’s relational management flowchart.</li><li>Provide staff with updates and professional development as required to ensure a Restorative Practices approach to behaviour education and that proactive elements of College relational management policy are implemented.</li><li>Provide coaching/mentoring of early career teachers through the provision of regular meetings to set and review professional goals and improve teacher practice/pedagogy.</li><li>Develop professional, caring relationships with students and staff while being part of a positive, focused learning environment.</li><li>Model best-practice in pedagogy according to the RLCB Pedagogical Framework</li><li>Conduct regular classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers to celebrate achievements and improve pedagogy.</li><li>Attend regular Leadership meetings (including Teaching and Learning, Inclusive Education and Curriculum teams) and report on students of concern.</li></ul>
